What Customers Say About Mer de Noms:

I really like it, its not extremely revolutionary music but its great listening for when you're working on the car or something along those lines. Instead, it has elements of what these musicians previously played, wrapped up in a whole new set of songs that maybe lean a little more towards sounding like melodic popular music than underground thrash. Its more accessible than Tool, a band that was often bloated and pretentious musically, but retains some of Tool's more engaging aspects such as Maynard's amazing vocal melodies and the low key thrash element that pervaded so many of Tool's best songs. I like how unique the sound they've created is, it doesn't sound like another band despite the fact that all of these guys came from previously established rock groups. This CD reminded me of how much I like Maynard Keenan's singing, I think he's a vastly underrated singer and maybe some of the stuff he's done with Tool as a vocalist has been superior, but this really shows how great a singer he is overall. I recommend this to anyone who's a fan of Tool or 90's rock in general, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

This is a great album. The multiple facets of Maynards musical talent are incredible.

This is the most artistic, beautiful, creative CD I have ever heard. EVERY song is as amazing and haunting as the next. I'm just prey they get back together for a new album soon it's been too long without A Perfect Circle. Highly, HIGHLY recommended.

Assured release from Keenan and a different, melodically dark company, successfully replaces crunching riffage with a slightly more soothingly eccentric palate, which produces the rare rock side project release beyond major reproach. Arguably more appealing than the increasingly bloated stagnation creeping into Tool's creativity at the time.

I really like this CD. I never get tired of it. The songs are great.
